Top dance labels join download service
A new, legal online download website devoted to dance music has been launched.
Trax2burn.com allows DJs and music fans from all over the world to download a single track, an album or an entire label catalogue online.
PC and Mac owners can use the service, which claims to cost a fraction of the price of CDs and vinyl. For DJs, trax2burn will also act as an up-to-the-minute online promotional company.
Norman Cook’s Southern Fried Records and Darren Emerson’s Underwater Records are the first to sign their labels’ back catalogues up to the site. More labels will be added to the service from January 2004.
