Shambhala Documentary is getting Rave reviews

The trailer for the documentary film Shambhala. A wild ride through ten years of the Shambhala music festival in Salmo BC. The film features live sets by Z-Trip, Adam Shaikh, Fort Knox Five, Lorin Bassnectar, and many more world class music acts.

The Shambhala Documentary made its World Premiere at the Okanagan International Film Festival . The film has been nominated for an award in the Canadian Documentary category. The documentary captures the spirit of the first ten years of Shambhala, the people, the music, the mountains, the river that runs through the site and the feeling of gathering for six days with 10,000 other people. “We have the ability to express ourselves with festivals like Shambhala and the ability to have autonomy and freedom around art and expression,” director Levy said. “I think the one thing I get out of Shambhala more than anything is just how lucky and fortunate each and every one of us are to have places like that to congregate and communicate.”
