SERATO DJ – NEW USER INTERFACE DESIGN!!
Fresh Look And New Colour Palette.
Serato DJ has a totally re-designed user interface making it easier to use and more attractive than ever. Here is the very first look at the new software, available on November 1st for the Pioneer DDJ-SX and rolling out over this Winter for supported Serato DJ Intro and ITCH controllers.
Virtual Decks.
We’ve added the BPM, time elapsed, time remaining, pitch percentage and pitch range information directly on the deck for quick and easy access to important track information.
Cue Points and Looping optimizations.
You can now choose to display either 8 cue points, 8 loops or 4 loops and 4 cues. All your looping controls can also be found underneath, with easy access to manual loop and auto-loop controls.
Brand new FX interface.
The FX controls have also been re-designed. Select from 10 professional quality FX powered by iZotope, assign to your channels and adjust multiple parameters to shape your sound.
Beatgrid editing enhancements.
Beatgrid editing is now much easier using the software Beatgrid editing controls. Click Edit Grid, to open up the controls in the Offline Player or next to the Virtual Deck.
SP-6 Sample Player.
Choose between simple mode, with a larger play button, gain control, play mode, loop and Sync controls, or an advanced view, with the full SP-6 control set for advanced use.
Ergonomic changes to the layout.
Crate buttons are in the centre of the screen along with the library view modes. The SP-6, DJ-FX and Recording panel buttons are at the top of the screen and we’ve cleaned up the setup screen to make it easier to navigate and understand.
View modes.
Classic vertical and horizontal waveform views as well as an extended horizontal waveform view and library mode to maximize your space. 4 Deck controllers also have the option to only show the 2 active decks. Display your tracks in list format or with album art for quick visual reference.
