The esteemed house producer, whose previous single “17” (Area10/Ultra Music) has amassed more than 70 million Spotify streams, paired up with the 2018 FA Cup winners to record the sounds of balls being struck against various objects at the studio, utilizing a series of metal, plastic, and even water-based surfaces, to create rich samples that can be transformed into club-ready basslines.
“Beatball with Thibaut Courtois, David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger was an amazing experience. We used the players skills and my studio process to create the sounds and textures I wanted,” said MK. “Even just one sound can create a new track, so by layering it with drum sounds, it sounds very beat-heavy, and pretty dope! I hope you like it as much as we do”
“I want to hear it!” laughed German defender Antonio Rudiger. “I love to dance!”
The project is typical of the inspired creative vision possessed by MK, who is best known for tracks like “Piece of Me” (52 million Spotify streams) and his remix of Storm Queen’s “Look Right Through” which hit the #1 spot in the U.K. Singles Chart.
“This is something new for us players,” added Chelsea‘s Brazilian centre-back David Luiz. “We all enjoyed working with somebody as talented as MK. I hope this song is going to be amazing and everyone can dance to it.”
The iconic DJ, who has taken his Area10 event brand worldwide, can been seen hitting at a number of major U.S. festivals such as Electric Forest, and Global Dance.

This year has been a breakthrough year for him in the U.S. as “17” has been supported not only by a wide community of DJ’s but also by radio stations (both satellite and terrestrial) such as SiriusXM (a #1 BPM track), Evolution, KNHC, Music Choice, KTU in NYC and WZFL Miami, as well as MTVu and REVOLT, peaking at #1 on the overall Dance Radio Chart.
