Dooms Night returns to Vancouver's Pacific Coliseum on October 31 with five artists spread across four distinct dance lanes. Doors open at 6pm.
The bill brings together Alesso, ARMNHMR, Cosmic Gate, Darren Styles, and Timmy Trumpet. It is less a single-genre lineup than a compact tour through several corners of festival dance music.
Four rooms, one stage
Alesso covers the mainstage and progressive side. Cosmic Gate, the German duo with more than two decades in trance, bring the long-form lift. ARMNHMR take the melodic-bass lane, Darren Styles the UK hardcore end, and Timmy Trumpet sits across the mainstage and hard-dance divide.
That range makes the running order unusually important. A single-genre night can hold one tempo and mood for hours. Dooms Night has to carry the same room between melodic bass, trance, festival EDM, and harder music without making the bill feel like separate events.
For Vancouver fans choosing a Halloween plan, the appeal is breadth without changing venues. The test will be whether the handoffs make four lanes feel like one party after the room fills and the costumes reach the floor.
